HOST A PARTY
Q. How long will the party last?
A. The business part of the party generally takes about 2 hours depending, of course, on the number of guests and pieces to be appraised. After that, it's your call.
Q. What shall I serve?
A. As hostess, that's entirely up to you. However, we have found that simple finger foods and snacks work best.
Q. Can I serve alcohol?
A. Once again, entirely up to you.
Q. Do you require a private place to do the appraisal?
A. We are very comfortable with working in the open. In fact, we want the entire process to be absolutely transparent. Also we have found that guests enjoy watching the appraisal process and share in the excitement and pleasure of a friend who has just made a lot of money. All we need is a table and some chairs set aside for us. However, if any guest wishes more privacy, we are fine with that as well.
